Stay in Position!

Hey fam!!! Happy Tuesday! I hope you had an amazing weekend and are prepared for God to blow your minds this week! If not, get ready!!!! Today I want to chat with you about the importance of staying in position! This means keeping your position in the right heart posture. Positioned to hear from God. Positioned to receive from God. Positioned to get your instructions and downloads from God. This is vital and key to taking the next step and walking into manifestation. Being out of position will make you miss the provisions from God. He can’t bless you if you’re not where you’re supposed to be. You cannot fulfill your assignments from God if you’re out of place. Your position keeps you ready, focused and disciplined.

When we find ourselves doubting and worrying, our minds tend to run rampart. We start to second guess the very things we know that God told us to do or that He was doing in our seasons. We start looking at all the things we have yet to see and suddenly our confidence has taken a backseat to this thing called life. Guess what? The enemy is lurking there. He is waiting for you to slip up and stumble. He’s waiting for you to begin doubting God so that he can remind you of all the things God hasn’t done. When I find myself in this place, I immediately begin reminding myself of what God said to me. If you’ve been reading my previous blogs, I stated that as you begin to grow and mature in your faith and walk with God, He will not continue to remind you of what He spoke to you. This is your training grounds. This is what strengthens your spiritual eyes and ears.

The devil knows what God said as well as you. But and that’s a BIG but……if he sees that you have any ounce of doubt and worry, he’s going to come and manipulate the situation. Stand your ground. Stayed wrapped in the full armor of God with the helmet of salvation and the belt of truth. I know it’s hard. I know everything around you looks like the exact opposite of what you’re standing for. It’s just an illusion from the enemy. If God is silent, go back and marinate on the last thing He told you. Yes, He may be allowing the enemy to test you but it’s also to strengthen you.

Rebuke the lies from the enemy. You may be asking yourself how do I get back into position. I begin to plead the blood over my mind and my thoughts. I tell the enemy he cannot have what God promised me. I ask God to show me what’s on His heart. I remind myself of the times God has already come through. It’s basically changing your perspective. Changing your mindset. Not allowing the enemy to undo and unravel everything God has already done. Sometimes you won’t have revelation and that’s only because it’s not time for God to reveal what you’re currently facing. Endure it anyway!!!! When the time is right, God will give you language and open your understanding. When God is silent and working behind the scenes, you have to trust that He IS working.

God will not compete with the voice of the enemy. When you worry and get out of position, you tend to hear God less. Yet, the enemy’s voice seems to be amplified. That’s because you are not in the right posture. Your position is your post. It’s where you need to remain in order to see this thing through. When the enemy tries to taunt you, he’s basically luring you from your post so that you can focus more on him and less on your assignment. He cannot take it from you, but he will try to confuse you about it. Come out of agreement with the spirit of confusion. God knows you will be tempted and doubt your position. That’s why He always provides us with an exit strategy to overcome the enemy’s traps and snares.

It’s up to you to not only get back, but stay where you’re supposed to be. Don’t beat yourself up if you strayed from your post. Arrest and rebuke the thoughts and lies of the enemy. Stop entertaining the devil and giving him any playtime in your mind. Remember to not get caught up in what you see in the natural. To me, it’s like being in a funhouse at a carnival. You know the one with all the mirrors. You don’t know what you’re seeing or where it’s even coming from. You don’t know which is which. You don’t know if you’re coming or going. That my friends is the devil’s playground. Call on Jesus and Holy Spirit will begin to bring your mind and thoughts back into alignment with God.

Sometimes, just standing is your war strategy. Just remaining is the way to overcome and get the victory. It’s actually harder than it sounds but a necessary part of your journey. Every battle requires a different tactic and approach. God will tell you what’s required but being in proper position is where you will know what weapons to use and what weapons are defenseless in your current battle. Maybe your battle requires faith. Maybe it’s intercession. Maybe it’s contending. Maybe it’s binding and rebuking. Maybe it’s just standing. Whatever your battle is, get on your post so that you understand what weapon is going to give you the victory!!!

Don’t show up to a fight with all the wrong weapons and strategies. Believe me when I say, Satan will have a field day with you. Don’t forget who you are and whose team you’re fighting for. Heaven will always back it’s soldiers and warriors. You are the child of a King. The devil is already defeated. Victory is your portion! Now go get what belongs to you!!!

Until next time my friends, see ya next Tuesday!!!
